Delivery Information
Divine Flowers guarantee same day delivery to Brisbane suburbs when orders are received by 12pm Monday - Friday, and Saturday when received by 10am.
In most cases Divine Flowers use their own professional flower courier, the timing of deliveries is determined by clustered postcodes so delivery runs are completed as quickly as possible. Your order is not delivered on a first in first delivered basis.
For an express or specific time delivery e.g. funerals, schools, dinner bookings etc, please email Divine Flowers directly at sales@divineflowers.com.au before placing your order and we will do our best to accommodate. Extra fees may apply.
- Residential delivery addresses will be made by 6pm.
- Business delivery addresses will be made by 5pm.
- Multiple items going to the same address that cannot be carried in one trip may incur additional fees, we will contact you if this is the case.
- Delivery prices are subject to change for special dates e.g. Valentines Day, Mothers Day.
If no one is home when your order is delivered
- If you have not given us instructions where to leave the gift, the courier will leave them in the safest location out of public view.
- If the courier deems it unsafe to leave your gift, and we cannot contact you then your gift will be returned to our workshop for re-delivery with additional delivery fees.
-
It is the sender's responsibility to detail a safe location as to where the gift/s can be left in 'special notes at checkout'. Your gift will be photographed at the designated location and delivery time noted by the courier.
-
If sending flowers to a workplace or home, it is the sender's responsibility to advise us in 'special notes at the checkout' or by email of any circumstances that could affect the couriers ability for a successful delivery. Eg: unfriendly dogs, locked gates, unattended reception areas.
Hospital Deliveries
It is hospital policy that flower and gift deliveries be taken to the nurses station or relevant reception. After handover, Divine Flowers cannot take any responsibility for the promptness or time of delivery to the recipient, again a photograph will be taken in situ with delivery time noted by the courier.
Prior to delivery, one of our team will call the addressed hospital to confirm the ward is accepting flowers/gifts (please note that ICU patients cannot receive plants or flowers), and check that the recipient is currently in a ward. If the recipient is being discharged, we will contact the sender to arrange an alternate address. This may incur an extra delivery fee if the secondary address is in a further delivery zone.
If your gift contains alcohol
Your gift can only be accepted by someone over the age of 18 years and cannot be left unattended in a public space. If instructions are not given by you the sender as to a safe place for the gift to be left then the recipient will be called prior to dispatch to request this information or arrange a mutually suitable delivery time.
We do not deliver on Sundays or on public holidays, except for Mother's Day and Valentine's Day and otherwise advertised.
